Terms and conditions
Last updated 1 October 2026. AI Playbooks is operated by an individual based in Singapore (referred to below as "the operator"). Using the site means accepting these terms.
What this service is
AI Playbooks publishes editorial guidance on business problems and the solution approaches, including AI approaches, that may address them. It is a reference for people scoping work. It is not a consultancy, it does not process your business data, and it produces no output specific to your organisation.
Guidance, not advice
Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial, medical or regulatory advice, and no reader-adviser relationship is created by using it. Content is written to be general to a problem, which necessarily means it does not account for your data, your contracts, your regulator or your risk appetite. The AI disclosure sets out how the content is produced and where its limits are, and it forms part of these terms.
You remain responsible for your own decisions. Deciding whether to apply an approach described here, validating it against your own circumstances, and keeping a competent person accountable for the outcome are all yours to do.
Accounts
An account is optional and exists only to save problems and keep a reading history. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the security of the identity provider you sign in with. Accounts may be suspended or removed where these terms are breached.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully, or to break someone else's rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, its infrastructure, or another person's account.
- Place load on the service that degrades it for others, whether by automated crawling, scripted requests or otherwise.
- Present the content as your own professional advice to a third party without your own review and accountability.
Automated and agent access to public pages is welcome within those limits. The crawl policy published at /robots.txt states what is permitted, and it is part of these terms.
Content and intellectual property
The operator owns or has the right to publish the content on this site. All rights are reserved, except for the specific permissions granted by the content signals published at /robots.txt, which currently permit search indexing, use as input to AI systems, and AI training.
A licence is being decided. The intention is to publish the knowledge content under an open licence. Until one is chosen and a licence file is added to the repository, the position above is what applies. If you want to reuse this content, ask at security@aiplaybooks.app rather than assuming either way.
Availability
The service is provided as is and as available. There is no uptime commitment, no support commitment, and no guarantee that content is current, complete or accurate. Features, content and these terms may change or be withdrawn at any time.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service or your reliance on its content, whether in contract, tort including negligence, or otherwise.
This expressly includes loss arising from a decision you made after reading guidance published here, including a decision to adopt or not adopt an AI approach.
The operator's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to one hundred Singapore dollars (SGD 100). The service is provided free of charge, and that is reflected in this limit.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, brought by a third party and arising out of:
- your use of the service in breach of these terms or of any law;
- your use of, or reliance on, content from this site in your own products, advice or decisions, including where you have passed it on to someone else; or
- your infringement of the rights of any third party.
The operator will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it without your consent, which you will not withhold unreasonably.
Third-party services
Sign-in, hosting and delivery depend on third parties described in theprivacy policy. Their own terms govern their services, and the operator is not liable for their acts or omissions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
